46 players took a stab at the Gold Foil, PTI, and $2000 USD last weekend in Salt Lake City!
The Demonastery was out in force as heroes Blitzed each other into next week - but only one managed to open the Rune Gate and envelop their enemies in darkness.
The Salt Lake City Brawl offered a chance for players to get reps in for Nationals, with a familiar frosty face coming out on top once again...
Battle Hardened
There's nothing quite like some good old fashioned Blitz, and finally it was Vynnset's time to shine! The field reflected a lot of what we've seen over Skirmish Season 7, but this time the Ninjas fell just short of a top cut finish.
Brutes and Wizards picked up the slack, but ultimately fell before the hordes of darkness, meanwhile Blitz mainstays Dash and Kassai also made a valiant (but doomed) effort to climb to the top.
With a pair of Chanes and a solo Vynnset wrecking the Top 8, it seemed like almost a certain victory for the Soul Shackle enjoyers, but in a surprise twist, Vynnset came out the gate (literally) with a powerhouse move that sealed the deal against her predecessor.

More than 50 players took to Classic Constructed in the Salt Lake City Brawl, with some big names aiming for the title.
Showcasing their absolute mastery of the game, three players from the Battle Hardened top cut fought their way to Top 8 spots again!
Despite falling short at Calling: Birmingham, Lexi dominated field, claiming three seats at the top table. But they were once again undermined by the queen of winter, who put any Ranger plans on hold due to unforeseen weather circumstances.
