Updates;
- 6th July 2023: Updated policy for the use of Armory Kit Materials and stores are now eligible to purchase promo cards and playmats from Tier 1 programs from players for the purpose of resale subject to date restrictions.
- 21 April 2023: People's Champion playmats can now also be given out as a random prize draw with entry based on Armory Event attendance during the month.
- 1 December 2022: Stores are now eligible to purchase promo cards from Tier 2 and above programs from players for the purpose of resale.
Use of Organized Play Materials
This policy covers the use of Organized Play Materials.
Stores are not permitted to sell organized play materials which have been provided by Legend Story Studios for in-store events. Surplus promos, playmats and other materials may be used to support on demand and casual events and must not be used as a sales incentive.
Stores must be able to demonstrate that they have hosted events and distributed the organized play materials to their players and/or judges in accordance with the event guidelines published on Retailer News.
Use of Armory Kit Materials
- Stores may run up to 4 Armory Events per month
- Stores may choose to run Armory Events as either Casual or Competitive
- Casual Armory Events should award the Cold Foil promo card as a random prize draw amongst participants
- Competitive Armory Events should award the Cold Foil promo card to the first place winner.
- Rainbow foil promo cards are to be distributed to top-placed players and/or as participation prizes at the store's discretion.
- Surplus promos, playmats and other materials may be used to support on demand and casual events and must not be used as a sales incentive or sold.

People's Champion Playmats
The "People's Champion" playmat provided in each Armory Kit is not to be used as a performance based prize. It must be awarded, at the discretion of the retailer, to someone who is bringing positive energy to their local community or as a random prize draw with entry based on Armory Event attendance during the month.
Resale of Organized Play Materials
Stores are permitted to purchase certain materials on the secondary market for the purpose of resale according to the following restrictions:
- Participation, judge, and prize cards , playmats and other prize accessories from Tier 1 in-store event programs (Armory, Pre-release, Skirmish) must not be resold within 1 calendar month of the final date of the event series. For example, a promo card from a June 2023 event series is not permitted to resold by a store prior to 1st August 2023. Please see the table below.
- Participation, judge, and prize cards, playmats and other prize accessories available through Tier 2 (ProQuest, Road to Nationals, Battle Hardened) and higher events, including Gold Foil prize cards, may be purchased and resold immediately following the event.
Materials NOT Eligible for Resale
- Ira Welcome Decks
- Sealed or complete organized play kits, including but not limited to Armory, Skirmish, Pre-release, Road to Nationals or Proquest kits.
- Leftover materials or surplus promos from their own events.
No matter how you came about acquiring them, if you are offering materials that are NOT eligible for resale, you are in breach of this policy.

Breach Process
Breaches of this policy can be reported to op@fabtcg.com
When a retailer is found to be in breach of this policy, the following process will be enforced:
- Minor breach - written warning
- Major breach - 1 month suspension from OP programs and supply of OP materials
- Sustained breach - termination of supply of Flesh and Blood products from all official distributors
